Get on the steam train and travel back in time! 

A ride on the Goes-Borsele Steam Train is so much more than a train ride. It is an adventure! Enjoy the sound of the steam train and the breathtaking view of the flower dikes, picturesque villages and the green polders of Zuid-Beveland. Whether you sit in 3rd class on the wooden benches or relax in 1st or 2nd class on the soft plush, you will experience the authentic feeling of a ride in a historic steam train. 

The route takes you from Goes to Hoedekenskerke, with a stop in Kwadendamme. Here you can get off to visit Berkenhof's Tropical Zoo and discover the tropical world of exotic animals, butterflies and birds.

The train travels on to Hoedekenskerke where there is much more to discover! The model railroad, the miniature train running through the park, the costumes and of course the “Wienkeltje van Wullempje” where you can buy the most delicious old-fashioned candy. And if you want to relax for a while, stop by De Buffer in Park De Pluimweide, where the kids can have fun with the model railroad tracks while you have a drink and some goodies in the meantime.

The kids can also have fun on the go-karts, boats and water maze. And don't forget the observation tower, where they can get a great view of the entire park!

In the meantime, the train just keeps waiting in Hoedekenskerke, so you can go about your business at leisure before starting the journey back again.

You also have a museum and traction building on the grounds in Goes? Here, before or after your steam train ride, you can enjoy a look at the model trains, have a nice stroll among the historic trains, weighbridges, a load jig, old-fashioned freight cars and even a real steam crane!

Motorcar 

On certain days there is also a motor wagon, an authentic diesel train that stops along smaller stations that the steam train skips, such as 's-Gravenpolder-'s-Heer Abtskerke, Nisse and Baarland. An extra reason to visit fun local attractions or take a stroll through the surrounding greenery.
