Museumhaven Zeeland is located in the Old Port of Zierikzee. In this open-air museum you will find a number of ship types that were used to sail in the Zeeland Delta in the olden days. Just outside the Zuidhavenpoort is the museum's ship restoration yard, called 'Stads- en Commerciewerf'. This name refers to the maritime history of Zierikzee. In this Stads- en Commerciewerf authentic ships are repaired and restored. This is done by dozens of volunteers.

Entrance fees

Admission to the museum is free. A small fee is charged for tours of the port of Zierikzee. The tours only take place when the tide and weather permit.
The museum is also interesting for the disabled, via TV monitors you get a good overview of all the activities.

Opening hours

The season normally runs from the museum weekend until mid-September (Open Monument Day). The museum is also open during the weeks of autumn holidays.

In the period mentioned above, the indoor and outdoor location is open on
Tuesday to Saturday, afternoons from 1 p.m. to 4.30 p.m.

The shipyard is open all year round for groups, but only by appointment.
